Got a question on FrontPage email me!
Editing on the FlyCan you edit web pages directly on the host? Yes, you
can. You can do it using MS FrontPage (as long as FrontPage
server extensions are installed on the web server) by going to FILE
then OPEN WEB.
Type in the URL (http:/www.mysite.com).
You will see all of the files and folders of your site. Just open a page and start editing it. WARNING:Just be advised, editing a web site in this manner can result in some major problems:
So how to avoid this? Simple, build your site on your local system using MS FrontPage, an HTML Editor, Visual InterDev, or notepad. Then use an FTP program to upload it. This way you ALWAYS have options! Also make backups of your site at least once a week or daily if you make changes to your site daily.
