All models had the jacks for Cassette and composite

TI 99/4a
Ran a version of BASIC that would only work with the
99/4a. Used cartridges like ones found on NES or Sega game
consoles. Programs were saved off to standard cassettes using a
special cable that had to be ordered. Had the option of a Expansion
box that would allow the use of a 5 1/4 floppy and many other
expansions.
Timex Sinclair ZX-81
Came out with 1k ram but had an expansion of 64K.
It had a "membrane" keyboard that made it impossible for touch typing.

Originally came out as a 16k system but quickly
expanded to 64k then to 128k. Some models had built-in monitors
and floppy drives

IBM XT, AT
Came with MS-DOS versions 1.0 to 3.0 and PC-DOS.
The XT started out with 16k ram then grew to 64k. The AT started
with 64k then moved up to 640k. The hard drives (if so
installed) were MFM. IDE came out with the ATs
IBM compatible 286, 386, 486, Pentium, Pentium II
Came with MS-DOS versions 1.0 to 6.0 or win 1.1 to
win98
KAYPRO 10
Ran C/PM 2.2 in a 64k
configuration. Had a 5 1/4 floppy drive and a 10 meg MFM hard
drive. This system is classified as a Portable. But weighing in
at 35+ pounds made it difficult to lug around. It had the
monitor built in to the case and the keyboard would lock in to the top
for carrying.
