EDIT YOUR WEB PAGE WITH ARACHNOPHILIA

Arachnophilia has always been an excellent HTML editor, and it just got better. Arachnophilia 4.0 offers spell checking, an Instant View mode so you can see the effect of your changes, and a built-in FTP client.

If you'd like to try this excellent (and free) editor, go to

http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/

and download it. Arachnophilia 4.0 is as good as some editors we've seen that cost $50 to $200.

A DIFFERENT HTML EDITOR

"I have used FrontPage Express a bit while trying to create a Web page. However, I don't much care for it. Can you recommend a better HTML that doesn't cost anything?"

Although we have no way of knowing just what you want in the way of a free HTML editor, we can recommend a few you can test. Try the following Web sites.

Download IMS Web Dwarf at

http://www.virtualmechanics.com/IMSDwarf.htm

Also take a look at Amaya at

http://www.w3.org/Amaya/

And our personal favorite is 1st Page 2000 at

http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage/

One of these will do the job for you. We have used 1st Page, and it is an excellent HTML editor.
