IN Memory
The person that helped inspire many of the pages of this site Sam Lea, was murdered in Arlington, Texas USA. His murder took place sometime between October 25 and October 31 of 2005. Complete Details are on KXAS NBC5 nbc5i.com - News - UTA Student Found Slain In Home and nbc5i.com - News - Police: UTA Student Killer Fled In Victim's Car. Anyone with information about Sam's murder should contact the The Arlington Texas Police Department at 817-459-5600 UPDATE: Sam's murderer has been captured! UTA Newspaper article. My thoughts of Sam: We worked together at a company that provided technical support for many major computer manufacturers and others. He and I would spend hours working on the internal website and on computer related issues. Sam was great fun to talk with even though there was a 12 year difference in our ages, it was like I was talking to a brother. He and I would go to a computer open sale in Dallas, known as First Saturday, and buy parts to build a computer for me. I actually bought one of my current computers from him. After he left in 2001, we stayed in touch through email and through instant messaging. In March of 2002, he came to the funeral of my mother, Margaret Loudon. My last contact with him was in August of 2005. He will be sorely missed.
